Since 2007, Dana Levy, a third generation designer who grew up behind the scenes on Jeweler’s Row in Chicago, Illinois, has dazzled the accessory world, including the likes of celebrities such as Blake Lively, Anne Hathaway, Oprah, Kelly Rutherford, Heather Locklear, Nikki Reed and more, with her namesake collection, Dana Rebecca Designs. Destined from youth to offer jewelry-couture lovers unique and breathtakingly fine accessories, Levy created her debut collection at the age 16, ITSADANA. From there she made her way to the Lone Star state and graduated in 2006 from the University of Texas Austin with a Bachelor’s degree in Corporate Communications and Business. Always a creative designer at heart, Dana returned to her family roots and attended the Gemological Institute of America, concentrating in the school’s Applied Jewelry Arts program in Carlsbad, California. While there, she honed in on her natural talent for design, perspective and composition, and emerged from the program ready to introduce a fresh and inspiring collection to the world.

After returning to Chicago, Dana launched Dana Rebecca Designs in May of 2007, stunning the industry with a bold, colorful, unique and awe-inspiring collection featuring earrings, necklaces, bracelets and rings. From beautiful baubles dripping in diamonds and crafted with fancy sapphires and sleeping beauty turquoise, to elegant chrysoprase and over-the-top onyx, Levy continues to add stunning works -of-art to her namesake collection regularly, all heavily influenced by her love for travel and family and friends. Through travels to culturally rich locations around the world such as India, China, Hong Kong, Tanzania, Kenya and Brazil, Dana has fused her passion for discovering the world with her innate ability to create mouth-dropping accessories. In addition, each piece pays homage to those closest to the designer, exuding their style and flair for life through the design and composition personally developed by Levy.

Today, Dana’s designs can be found on the likes of Hollywood darlings including Giuliana Rancic, Leighton Meester, Blake Lively and Lauren Conrad, as well as on the set of hit shows like Gossip Girl and Melrose Place.
