Four days in Hong Kong flew by faster than I could imagine. I got so much accomplished that I’m overwhelmed with so many emotions. I wish I had more time to explore Hong Kong and all that it has to offer. For future trips I am requiring myself to leave 1-2 days for personal exploration. On the work front, the three days we spent at the show were so successful I am looking forward to sharing with you all the great things we found. I was lucky to have my brother Noah traveling with me as my bodyguard, confidant and advisor. There isn’t anyone funnier, more laid back and just easy to travel with than Noah. I am really excited about all the new designs (about 100+) that I will unveil in the coming months. Check out some awesome new stones I stumbled upon.

It is my fifth visit to Hong Kong and every single time the skyline blows me away. I am always trying to capture a photo that proves how truly amazing it is. I think I did it!

Bold colors rocked the runway in New York City during Fall 2010 Fashion Week, turning simple, monochromatic pieces into absolute fashion do’s. Fabulous yellow and orange hues brought looks to life and breathed a fresh new attitude into the air. Don’t worry fellow fashion lovers, here at DRD we have incorporated the very latest in catwalk couture into our own designs, giving you plenty of reasons to bust out your over-sized shades early this year.

Just in time for outdoor cocktail parties, afternoon shopping trips with the girls and those impromptu nights out, a number of DRD favs will have you looking like you just stepped out of a magazine. The Jaclyn Leigh (striking use of 14k yellow gold and lemon quartz) and Kristen Holly (14k yellow gold with a multitude of multi-colored fancy sapphires) are sparkling stunners that can dress up any basic and the Alexis Robin (14K white gold with rubilite) is the perfect stand alone piece that is sure to turn heads.

We are so excited to have such an amazing following of fans and have been star-struck, literally, by the love being shown to DRD by some of Hollywood’s hottest celebs! In fact, Lauren Conrad’s BFF, Lo Bosworth, is gracing page 72 of the current issue of Life & Style issue, in which the editors call her out as a “look we love!”
 
She isn’t the only starlet to hop on the DRD train.  A number of stylish sirens have donned the latest designs including Leighton Meester (Julianne Himiko earrings and Lisa Michelle ring), E! host Giuliana Rancic (Karly Beth bangles), Nikki Reed from the Twilight series and Blake Lively on the set of GG.  Even the queen of daytime, Oprah (Courtney Lauren earrings), has been spotted looking nothing less-than-fabulous in DRD and Jamie-Lynn Sigler knows a good thing when she sees it, the ex-Sopranos sweetie attended an Emmy’s after-party in some darling danglers.

My life wouldn’t be complete without the amazing support and constant love I feel everyday from my family and friends. My support team in Chicago keeps me positive and inspired on a daily basis. Traveling out to LA to debut my collection was tough for me. I left my support system and traveled to Los Angeles, the city of dreams, and took a leap of faith that the event would be a success. I must give LOTS of thanks to my friends in Los Angeles who worked endlessly to help make my event a success. Everyones support, participation, and love really made the event a great success. Thanks to the friends who flew from Chicago and made it to the event! And of course, a special thanks to Giuliana Rancic for her love of DRD and being so fun to work with!
