We’re grateful and excited to celebrate every year but this one seems extra special because… WE’RE SIXTEEN! It’s no secret that I love treats [I moonlight as a candy influencer after all] so I guess you could say that I quite literally embrace the SWEET as I celebrate these 16 sacred years!
Birthdays, anniversaries, pretty much all BIG life events send me into sentimental overdrive [which I kind of love]. I keep thinking about all of the fun that I had when I celebrated my own sweet 16th birthday. Of course what stands out most in my memory is the people - family and friends - who surrounded me then and continue to now. The link between past and present is ever apparent and beautiful. So thank you to everyone but especially my brother, sister and team for your support each and every day. While DRD is still a baby in my eyes + heart, I’m constantly nostalgic and blown away as I sift through 16 years of milestones!
Please eat a sweet treat today [and/or everyday] and blow out those imaginary candles for DRD!
